GOOD DAY SUNSHINE Conditions of Entry

 

By purchasing this ticket, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

 

1. General Agreement:

All conditions on this ticket should be read in conjunction with statements or directives displayed on our website or at the event premises.

 

2. Acknowledgement and Compliance:

By entering the event, you confirm that you have read and agree to abide by the event rules and conditions.

 

3. Pass-Out Policy:

STRICTLY NO PASS OUTS (exit and re-entry) are permitted for this event.

 

4. Age Restrictions:

GOOD DAY SUNSHINE is a licensed all-ages event. Patrons under 18 may attend with a valid ticket if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

5. Identification:

Photo ID is required for entry. Falsifying documents or providing alcohol to minors is illegal and may result in prosecution and ejection.

 

6. Acceptable Forms of ID:

All 18+ patrons must present valid photo ID. Acceptable forms include:

  • Australian Driver’s Licence or learner permit

  • Passport or State/Territory Proof of Age card

 

7. Prohibited Access:

Entry is prohibited for individuals who:

  • Appear under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other stimulants

  • Exhibit behaviour intended to disturb public peace or provoke violence

  • Conceal prohibited items with the intent to bypass security screening

  • Wear gang-related colours, hi-vis clothing, or attempt to impersonate staff or emergency services

  • Are from unauthorised media outlets

 

8. Admission Rights:

The EVENT reserves the right to refuse entry or evict ticket holders at their absolute discretion for any reason.

 

9. Ticket and Entry Compliance:

Only valid ticket holders are permitted entry. Attempting to enter without a valid ticket may result in prosecution.

 

Age Restrictions

 

10. Event Characteristics:

The event may be loud, feature high-intensity crowd movements, and include performances with explicit language. Patrons should be aware of these characteristics.

 

11. Minors Policy:

Patrons under 18 years may attend with a valid ticket if accompanied by a parent or guardian. A maximum of 2 under 18’s per one responsible adult. Any U18 patrons seen without a parent or guardian will be evicted, along with the accompanying adult.

 

12. Wristband Requirement:

All adult patrons must provide photo ID to receive an 18+ wristband for alcohol purchase. U18 patrons will need to be registered at the front gate with their parent or guardian and receive identification wristbands.

13. Venue Accessibility:

Tickets

 

15. Ticket Responsibility:

Treat tickets as cash. Tickets will not be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen, or damaged. The Presenter does not refund for non-attendance due to reasons beyond their control.

 

16. Lost Tickets:

Report lost tickets to info@oztix.com.au before the event. Receipts or printouts of terms and conditions are not valid for entry.

 

17. Resale and Commercial Use:

Tickets may not be resold or used for commercial purposes without prior consent. Violations may result in ticket cancellation and refusal of entry.

 

18. Official Agents:

Tickets are only valid when purchased from the official agent Oztix. Tickets from non-official sources may be refused entry.

 

19. Purchase Limits:

There is a limit of 8 tickets per person. Tickets are available until sold out or as determined by the presenter.

Behaviour & Operations

 

21. Event Operation:

The event will proceed regardless of weather, unless a force majeure event occurs.

 

22. Prohibited Activities:

Crowd surfing, moshing, and other dangerous activities are prohibited and will not be tolerated.

 

23. Capacity Restrictions:

Some areas may have restricted capacities. Purchase of a ticket does not guarantee access to all areas.

 

24. Smoking Policy:

Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. Fines may be issued for smoking in prohibited areas.

 

25. Liability:

ENTRY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The Presenter, artists, venue owners, and lessees are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained.

 

26. Media Consent:

By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. The Presenter may use such images or recordings for commercial purposes.

 

27. Emergency Procedures:

In emergencies, follow directives from security, police, or event organisers.

 

28. Health and Safety:

Contact security if you or others’ health or safety is at risk. First Aid and Security are available on site.

 

29. Youth Policy:

All youth (under 18) ticket holders must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult at all times.

If a youth is found to be unaccompanied or unsupervised at any time, both the youth and their responsible adult will have their tickets cancelled and will be escorted from the festival site.

 

30. Event Essentials:

Bring a hat, sunblock, and cash as there are no ATMs on site.

 

Prohibited Items

 

31. General Prohibitions:

Items that may cause harm or disturbance are prohibited, including:

  • Portable seating, tables, coolers, umbrellas, and tents

  • Food items (a variety of food options will be available on-site)

  • Alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescription drugs not in original containers

  • Glass and aluminium containers (except water bottles)

  • Professional audio/visual recording devices (excluding mobile phones)

  • Drones, culturally sensitive items, and items with studs

  • Flags, poles, promotional materials, air horns, megaphones, and weapons

  • Bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards, and animals (except authorized guide dogs)

  • No liquids allowed except for empty water bottles (free water available on-site)

 

Chairs

 

32. Chair Policy:

BYO chairs are welcome in certain areas:

  • SUNSHINE CIRCLE: Chairs are not permitted; this is a dance floor zone.

  • GOLD SEATING: Chairs are allowed; bring a picnic chair or sit on the grass.

  • GENERAL ADMISSION: Chairs are welcome, but not in the standing-only wings toward the stage.
